Overview

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician 2 - A&P in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role focuses on performing various technical functions related to aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification, ensuring that all work complies with quality standards and FAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components including airframes, engines, and electrical systems
  • Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA standards
  • Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and paperwork accurately and timely
  • Store aircraft components securely and maintain proper identification of customer property
  • Operate and oversee the use of special support equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas applying 6S and Lean Initiatives
  • Coordinate movement of aircraft as required

Required skills

  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical)
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
  • Experience with technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, etc.)
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
