Overview

Manpower Engineering is seeking an Advanced Process Controls Engineer to join a leading petrochemical manufacturing organization in Westlake, Louisiana. The role involves developing and implementing advanced process control strategies to optimize chemical production processes and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced process control strategies
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process issues
  • Conduct process simulations and modeling for improvements
  • Participate in process safety management activities including HAZOP
  • Support the development of operating procedures for safety and efficiency

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in a chemical processing plant
  • Experience with Honeywell APC platform
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in process control systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
