Overview

The Administrator of the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LCHSA) at Visiting Nurse Services Westchester will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compliant home care services across New York State. This role requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage a multidisciplinary team in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the LCHSA ensuring compliance with NYSDOH regulations.
  • Provide hands-on operational oversight to deliver efficient and safe services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare for audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Patient Care Coordinators, and Home Health Aides.
  • Maintain knowledge of New York State home care regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Manage utilization of the New York State Home Care Registry and oversee electronic health record systems.
  • Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Address patient complaints and take corrective actions as necessary.

Required skills

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in home care or LCHSA.
  • Strong knowledge of New York State home care regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with the New York State Home Care Registry.
  • Operational management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
