Accounting SpecialistSalary: $110,000-$130,000/yr Why This Opportunity Stands Out:• Work side-by-side with the Controller and gain strong visibility to leadership• Direct impact on manufacturing efficiency, cost control, and profitability• Exposure to multiple sites and cross-functional teams (FP&A, Supply Chain, Operations)• Opportunity to build and enhance cost models, analytics, and reporting tools• Hands-on involvement in inventory, variance analysis, and process improvement• Expand your expertise in project accounting and ERP systems (Costpoint preferred)• Be part of a data-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and Lean principles• Gain ownership in month-end close and key financial processes• Opportunity to contribute to training initiatives and scalable process enhancements Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:• Develop cost estimates, models, and Excel-based build-ups for materials, labor, and overhead• Perform inventory and COGS account reconciliations and financial analysis• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes• Analyze manufacturing variances and labor productivity metrics• Maintain project cost ledger accuracy and reconcile to the balance sheet• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve cost, inventory, and process issues Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance• 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing accounting• Advanced Excel skills• ERP experience (Costpoint preferred) and knowledge of project accounting
