Overview

The 3rd Shift Production Data Entry role at Alene Candles Midwest LLC involves managing inventory transactions, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role supports production coordination and fosters communication across departments to streamline operations and maintain product traceability.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain Alene's Standards of Performance and adhere to safety and housekeeping policies
  • Accurately enter and verify inventory movements using the ERP system
  • Process and archive wax batch records for compliance and audit readiness
  • Update and monitor the Schedule Batch Plan to track production progress
  • Collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Planning, and Production departments
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining production and inventory reports
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Act as a backup Batch Technician when needed
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Wax Supervisor

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, inventory control or administrative support in a production environm
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a production/warehouse setting
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment with cross-functional coordination
  • Leadership experience acting as a team lead or point of contact
