Overview

Alene Candles Midwest LLC is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Data Entry specialist to manage inventory transactions and support production scheduling in their Columbus, Ohio facility. The role involves ensuring accurate data entry using ERP systems, maintaining batch records, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain company standards of performance and comply with safety policies
  • Manage and verify inventory transactions using ERP systems
  • Process and archive wax batch records for traceability and compliance
  • Update and monitor the batch schedule plan to track production progress
  • Coordinate cross-department communication regarding material usage and availability
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly production and inventory reports
  • Participate in inventory audits and support warehouse operations
  • Act as backup batch technician when needed
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, inventory control, or administrative support in a production environ
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a production/warehouse setting
