Overview

Douglassville Quarry, a division of the H&K Group, Inc., is seeking a 2nd Shift Groundsperson to assist with production and maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, offering opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Conduct plant maintenance and keep work areas clean
  • Learn plant functions and operations proactively
  • Take direction from site personnel and work in a team
  • Cross train for various jobs in the plant
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work second shift schedule
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation preferred
  • Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Physical capability to meet job demands, including lifting
