Overview

MyWorkChoice is seeking a dependable full-time Assembler to work at Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, Ohio. This role involves assembling mower parts and ensuring product quality on an active assembly line during the 1st shift, from 5:45 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Friday, offering a wage of $18.25 per hour with options for same-day pay.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble mower parts, hoods, headlights, and other components on the production line
  • Install wiring, bolts, and hardware as part of the assembly process
  • Inspect and verify parts using visual checks, gauges, and fixtures to ensure quality
  • Operate equipment safely and perform basic maintenance
  • Maintain a clean work area following 5S standards
  • Report safety or quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts

Required skills

  • Comfortable standing and performing repetitive tasks for the full duration of a shift
  • Able to keep pace in a fast-moving production environment
  • Able to read and follow written instructions, including ISO work procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the shift
  • Reliable, communicates well, and works well with a team
  • Steel-toed/safety shoes required (workers must provide their own)
  • No experience required; assembly or light industrial experience is a plus
