Southwest Shipyard is a Texas-based shipbuilding, repair and marine-services company. It constructs, repairs and services barges, boats, offshore supply vessels, ferries and tugs for commercial and government customers. Its services include vessel repair and conversion, new construction, gas freeing and cleaning, steaming and flaring, surface preparation and painting, and wastewater treatment. The company operates four shipyards along the Texas Gulf Coast and has been family-owned for three generations.
