Overview

The Youth Sports Administrator at the YMCA of Greater Omaha plays a crucial role in supporting youth sports program operations, particularly in volunteer administration, compliance tracking, and process coordination. This position contributes to the YMCA's mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer volunteer HRIS and database systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Manage volunteer offboarding processes including documentation and record updates
  • Coordinate coach and volunteer onboarding and compliance tracking
  • Review new volunteer paperwork and ensure complete onboarding files
  • Develop partnerships with local schools and organizations to strengthen recruitment pipelines
  • Serve as a liaison between HR and Youth Sports Program
  • Maintain organized and confidential personnel records
  • Support special projects and administrative tasks for Youth Sports department
  • Participate in department meetings, trainings, and association events
  • Track and report data related to participation, compliance, and program outcomes
