Overview

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a part-time Youth Advocate to supervise and care for youth aged 10-17. This role involves ensuring a safe environment, providing direct support for educational and life skill development, and participating in various activities with the residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise youth and ensure their safety and security
  • Transport and accompany residents on outside activities
  • Assist with daily maintenance of the facility
  • Participate in the implementation of client case plans
  • Conduct screenings and initial intakes for clients
  • Prepare meals and supervise youth in completing chores
  • Maintain reports and documentation as required
  • Perform duties as directed by the Program Manager
