Overview

Whetstone Academy is seeking Youth Adventure Staff to guide students on safe weekend trips, which may include local day outings or overnight camping. The role is essential for fostering students' cultural awareness and personal enrichment while providing a nurturing environment that supports their therapeutic needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide students on weekend adventures and camping trips
  • Provide close supervision and a nurturing environment for students
  • Utilize natural and logical consequences to hold students accountable
  • Employ relationship and counseling skills effectively
  • Complete all necessary student documentation
  • Attend and participate in mandatory training

Required skills
