Job Description

Overview

Lighthouse CH is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children on the autism spectrum. The role involves working one-on-one with these children to implement personalized therapy plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), fostering meaningful relationships and contributing to the children's growth and development.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Deliver personalized therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to review progress
  • Communicate updates and strategies to parents and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and data
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track data accurately
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet children's unique needs
