Overview

Rentco Equipment Ltd. is seeking a full-time Yard Hand/Labourer to join their team in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. With over 60 years of experience, Rentco supports oilfield, construction, and homeowner clients and prides itself on excellent customer service and a well-stocked inventory.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare rental equipment for customers accurately and efficiently
  • Test and demonstrate equipment operation to customers
  • Oversee secure loading and unloading of equipment
  • Perform routine checks on rental equipment for safety
  • Inspect returned equipment for damages and fuel
  • Maintain organized and safe yard and shop
  • Prepare records of equipment status as per procedures
  • Wash and fuel rental equipment

Required skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Written communication skills and basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to learn to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
