Overview

The Yard Associate position at Agri Supply Company involves providing excellent customer service while managing yard operations. This full-time role includes loading customer purchases, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety compliance in a dynamic outdoor work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers on the yard to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Load purchased merchandise into customer vehicles manually or with machinery.
  • Unload, examine, and prep incoming yard freight.
  • Move new inventory into designated locations on the yard.
  • Notify management of any damaged or missing products.
  • Follow company safety guidelines and complete required audits.
  • Install trailer hitches and tool boxes, inflate and mount tires, and lubricate parts.
  • Assemble components from blueprints and instructions using hand tools or machines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop.

Required skills

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assembly or related fields
  • Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical stamina and strength for lifting and moving items
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
