Overview

4LEAF, Inc. is seeking an Xactimate-Certified Damage Assessor / Residential Field Inspector to join their Northern California team. This part-time role involves field inspections of residential properties affected by storm-related damage, documenting conditions, preparing damage assessments, and collaborating with clients and contractors to develop repair scopes and cost estimates.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform residential field inspections for storm-related property damage
  • Assess damage to roofing, siding, windows, doors, and structural elements
  • Utilize Xactimate for scoping analyses and preparing repair estimates
  • Develop and review scopes of work for repairs and reconstruction
  • Document findings, measurements, and supporting materials accurately
  • Capture property conditions using Matterport and iGUIDE
  • Collaborate professionally with homeowners, clients, and contractors
  • Track key scope metrics and file status to ensure timely completion

Required skills

  • Expert-level proficiency with Xactimate
  • Experience with Matterport, DocuSketch, and iGUIDE
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction and repair methods
  • Ability to prepare accurate scopes of work and damage assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
