Overview

The WTP Performance Support role at AttainX Inc. involves providing oversight and performance assurance support for the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (WTP) at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. The position requires a skilled professional with extensive experience in nuclear operations and strong communication skills to assist the Department of Energy (DOE) in ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform quality related oversight functions for the WTP project
  • Develop and document self-assessment plans and results
  • Monitor and report on contractor improvements and compliance with safety performance standards
  • Prepare Operational Awareness and Surveillance reports
  • Provide auditing and training support for staff
  • Review and comment on performance assurance procedures and WTP oversight reports

Required skills

  • BS/BA degree in a relevant field
  • 35 years of nuclear operations experience
  • 5 years of direct experience with the WTP project
  • Experience with assessment reports and performance assurance
  • Expert knowledge of operations and training programs for WTP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Understanding of federal regulations and DOE program management practices
