Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Wound, Burn and Ostomy Physician in Batavia, NY. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. Physicians will engage in modern wound management practices with training provided by highly qualified professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Document clinical interactions in real-time using a proprietary EMR
  • Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles or 4-5 days for full-time
  • Visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the relevant state
  • Experience in wound management and patient care
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and medical documentation
  • Ability to provide clinical training and leadership
