Waters Edge Church in Newport News, Virginia is looking for a full-time Worship Leader who is talented, passionate, and driven. This role involves leading worship with excellence, developing and managing volunteers, and collaborating on creative service planning to engage the community and foster powerful worship experiences that connect individuals to Jesus.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead worship on Sundays and for special events
  • Contribute to the creative process for Sunday services and special events
  • Collaborate with church leadership to fulfill the church's vision
  • Oversee the Sunday programming experience, ensuring excellence
  • Recruit, manage, and care for volunteers in the band and production team
  • Coordinate and drive projects, ensuring follow-through on initiatives
  • Organize impactful church events
  • Oversee administrative tasks for smooth daily operations
