Overview

SSP America is seeking a Wok Cook to join their team in North Salt Lake, Utah. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while preparing delicious dishes at one of their restaurants in the Salt Lake City International Airport. Candidates should have prior experience as a Line Cook or Wok Cook.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive food orders and prepare dishes according to recipes
  • Maintain proper and adequate kitchen set-up on a daily basis
  • Requisition and stock required food and kitchen items
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen equipment
  • Maintain stock and storage of perishables to ensure quality
  • Complete checklists for opening, ongoing, and closing tasks
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Other duties as assigned
