Overview

Terroir Wines is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Wine Sales Representatives to service and grow a variety of accounts in eastern and central Massachusetts. This field sales position involves regular visits to customers, promoting the Terroir portfolio, and establishing new relationships within the wine market.

Key responsibilities

  • Service existing accounts and develop new accounts
  • Build relationships with accounts and buyers through regular visits and presentations
  • Increase sales of existing products and introduce new products
  • Support accounts through tastings and events as necessary
  • Ensure clients are current on their account payments
  • Communicate customer needs to the company
  • Manage client expectations regarding company policies

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wine/food industry
  • Good knowledge of wine styles, types, and regions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and motivation
  • Computer literacy including documents and spreadsheets
  • Ability to thrive in a self-structured work environment
  • Reliable vehicle, smartphone, and connectivity
  • Commission-based sales experience
  • Proven record of sales growth
