This position requires hands-on experience with window and door installation or repair, strong mechanical aptitude, and a customer-first mindset.The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, communicating directly with homeowners and contractors, and delivering quality workmanship that exceeds customer expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionally represent MITER Brands and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.Travel to customer homes, job sites, and commercial locations to diagnose and resolve window and door product concerns.Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and service windows, doors, hardware, and related components.Independently perform service calls and repairs while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Identify root causes of product issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and service equipment.Document service calls, observations, repairs performed, and outcomes using mobile devices and company service software.Submit accurate and timely service reports.Ensure customer homes and job sites are left clean and returned to their original condition upon completion of service.Pick up and deliver parts between warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and customer locations.Maintain inventory levels in service vehicles and warehouse locations.Inspect incoming parts for quality compliance and coordinate replacement of non-conforming materials.Assist with warehouse organization and unloading deliveries as needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and properly functioning service vehicle.Collaborate with other Field Service Technicians on larger projects and complex service situations.Promote and follow all company safety policies and procedures.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 2 years of window and door installation or repair experience.Working knowledge of window and door products, components, and repair techniques.Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.Experience working with hand tools and power tools.Ability to diagnose and resolve product issues independently.Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Windows-based applications.Ability to use mobile devices and service software to document service activities.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record in accordance with company policy.PreferredExperience working directly with homeowners, builders, contractors, or distributors.Experience servicing impact-resistant windows and doors.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.Aerial Lift Certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.Skills & CompetenciesStron
