Job Description

Overview

The Wellness Coordinator at Foundry Treatment Center is responsible for assisting with the wellness program aimed at improving health for clients in recovery. This part-time role includes leading group activities, transporting clients, and developing wellness plans that promote accountability and well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Help design and implement wellness programming
  • Educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices
  • Oversee offsite activities including transportation and equipment
  • Collaborate with the Clinical department to plan activities
  • Ensure clients are safety monitored during activities
  • Assist clients with physical exercise programs
  • Develop individualized wellness care plans for clients

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in the health/wellness/fitness industry
  • Health and wellness or Wilderness First Responder certification preferred
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days
  • Experience leading group activities
  • Knowledge of nutritional values
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to inspire and motivate individuals
  • Proficient with Google Suite or similar software
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
