Overview

The Welding Technician at Stellar Industries Inc is responsible for welding fabrications and components, primarily using MIG welding techniques for aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

  • Weld aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components using bench and MIG techniques
  • Grind welds and complete all aspects of the welding area
  • Follow directions from supervisors and complete company training programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Set up and assemble components for welding tasks
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and company equipment
  • Strive for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
