Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking skilled welders for all shifts in Fall River, WI. The role involves operating welding machines or industrial robots to fabricate metal parts according to specifications, while ensuring quality and adherence to safety practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Manually lift work pieces or use hoists and secure them in fixtures
  • Calculate and set machine controls for welding parameters
  • Inspect and measure work pieces for conformance to specifications
  • Operate robotic welders and unload completed frames
  • Tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt parts to meet configurations
  • Remove excess weld and clean work pieces using grinders or scrapers
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding techniques as required
  • Maintain company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and quality control plans
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and follow safety regulations

Required skills
