Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking skilled welders for all shifts in Fall River, Wisconsin. The role involves operating welding machines or industrial robots to fabricate metal parts, ensuring adherence to specifications through basic welding theory and practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate welding machines and industrial robots to fabricate metal parts
  • Secure workpieces using fixtures or automatic feeding devices
  • Set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, and welding materials
  • Inspect and measure workpieces for conformance to specifications
  • Unload and place welded frames in appropriate containers
  • Perform various welding techniques and maintain quality standards
  • Maintain accurate counts of parts and label finished containers
  • Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
