Overview

Anderson Dahlen is seeking Welders in Anoka, Minnesota, to perform a variety of welding, layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly operations on structural and sheet metal components. The role requires proficiency in multiple welding processes and the ability to ensure work meets prescribed tolerances and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of welding operations using GMAW, GTAW, plasma cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, and brazing
  • Select appropriate rods, wires, tips, and electrodes for each welding operation
  • Plan work using blueprints, drawings, specifications, and instructions
  • Inspect completed work for conformity to specifications
  • Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Identify job flow or production issues and recommend corrective actions
