Overview

Anderson Dahlen is seeking skilled Welders to join their team in Anoka, Minnesota. The role involves performing a variety of welding operations on structural and sheet metal components while adhering to quality standards and customer specifications. The position requires individuals who can effectively work from blueprints and utilize multiple welding processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and perform welding, layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly operations.
  • Weld a full range of materials using processes like GMAW, GTAW, and oxyacetylene cutting.
  • Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications.
  • Position and fit parts using fixtures and precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain welding equipment and work areas in an orderly condition.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Identify production issues and recommend corrective actions.

Required skills

  • Experience in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, plasma, and oxyacetylene cutting)
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Competency in operating cranes and forklifts
  • Experience in quality control and inspection of welded products
