Job Description

Overview

DWM Holdings is seeking a 2nd shift Production Team Welder responsible for fitting and welding of steel and aluminum using MIG and TIG processes. This position involves working on special projects and requires adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand and apply safe work practices in accordance with ANSI Z49.1 and company policy
  • Familiarity with welding documentation such as WPS, PQR, and WPQR
  • Locate and understand shielding gas, filler metal, and base material certifications
  • Weld to AWS D1.1 Structural Steel and AWS D1.2 Structural Aluminum standards
  • Perform fillet welds in various positions
  • Produce structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing welds
  • Conduct in-process quality inspections and execute high-quality repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 6S principles
  • Utilize thermal-cutting equipment to fabricate parts
  • Fill cavities or correct malformations in metal workpieces
