Overview

Dimar Manufacturing is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift in Clarence, New York. The role involves fabricating and welding components to produce quality compliant products while adhering to departmental performance standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Weld components using MIG and/or TIG according to blueprints and job traveler
  • Check and verify part numbers prior to assembly
  • Accurately measure and layout locations for welded components
  • Adjust welds for varying thicknesses of steel
  • Operate tools such as grinder, drill, band saw, torch, and crane as assigned
  • Complete and maintain required paperwork and documentation
  • Follow safety and work rules and regulations
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
  • Assist in training new employees
