Overview

United Rotary Brush Inc is seeking a Welder for their manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas. This position is for the 2nd shift and focuses on producing tube assemblies for the tube-broom production line, emphasizing quality and safety in the work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Cut and prepare tubing for assembly and welding according to specifications.
  • Weld drive components to the tubes.
  • Accountable for storage of tubes and tube assembly components.
  • Inform management of material shortages or defects.
  • Maintain component materials in an organized fashion.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counting.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED with coursework in Welding.
  • Minimum one year of related welding experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Mig welding and Tig welding required; welding certification preferred.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as press machine, drilling machine, band saw, blowtorch, and air-powered tools.
  • Attention to detail and safety practices.
