Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Service is seeking a motivated and compassionate Weekend Pet Crematory Driver to join their team in Morrisville, North Carolina. This part-time position involves transferring pets from veterinary clinics or family homes with the utmost respect and sensitivity, ensuring dignified treatment for pets after their passing.

Key responsibilities

  • Transfer pets into care from veterinary clinics or family homes with respect and sensitivity.
  • Safely return pets to veterinary clinics or family homes after cremation.
  • Maintain professional and empathetic interactions with clinic personnel and grieving families.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately for documentation and organization.
  • Operate fleet motor vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws.
  • Fuel and clean vehicles and report issues to dispatch.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and cleanliness of the facility.

Required skills

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds comfortably.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy towards grieving individuals.
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work evening shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate paperwork completion.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
