Overview

The Wealth Client Onboarding Specialist at Marshall & Sterling will be responsible for coordinating the new client onboarding process within the Wealth Advisors Division. This includes managing account establishment and requests, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and seamless experience for clients. The role emphasizes proactive communication and collaboration with advisors and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full onboarding process for new clients
  • Ensure a smooth and accurate onboarding experience
  • Prepare and process account documentation and onboarding paperwork
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding
  • Coordinate account setup, transfers, rollovers, and updates
  • Maintain accurate client records and compliance with KYC/AML policies
  • Track onboarding progress and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or client service
  • Knowledge of account opening procedures and custodial platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and document management platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Vertafore and LPL Financial preferred
