Overview

The Waterpark Facilities Supervisor at Six Flags Great Adventure will organize, train, and lead technical staff to implement maintenance, inspection, and operational procedures for water park facilities. The role requires problem-solving capabilities and strong leadership skills to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of rides and equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee water park maintenance operations and leadership for ride maintenance and repairs
  • Manage and train maintenance staff while enforcing safety protocols
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and manage budgets
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records for effective preventive maintenance
  • Identify suppliers and manage procurement for replacement parts
  • Train staff on safety, OSHA, and operational protocols

Required skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred
  • Certified pool operator (CPO) or ability to gain certification
  • 3-5 years of experience managing skilled technical staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
