Join our team as a Waste and Recycling Attendant and help keep our sites clean, safe, and well organized.Every day is different: moving containers, cleaning common areas, and completing general site-maintenance tasks. If you are looking for an active, hands-on, and rewarding position with a dynamic team, this opportunity is for you! What You'll Do Collect waste and recyclable materials from designated areasSort waste and recycling according to site proceduresMove bins, containers, and other waste receptacles to designated collection areasReturn bins and containers to their proper locations after collectionClean and maintain garbage rooms, loading areas, common areas, and surrounding spacesClean up spills and remove loose waste or debrisPerform general site-maintenance dutiesMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areasSafely use cleaning products, tools, and equipmentReport damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concernsFollow all workplace health and safety policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as required The Perfect Match You are someone who:Enjoys staying active and performing hands-on workIs reliable, punctual, and motivatedHas good stamina and is comfortable with physical workCan walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shiftIs comfortable moving bins and containersCan work independently and as part of a teamIs comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditionsHas strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organizationCan follow instructions and workplace safety proceduresHas previous waste management, custodial, porter, or similar experience an asset, but not requiredNo previous experience is required training will be provided Benefits Full-time Paid overtime at 1.5 times the regular rateTraining and development opportunitiesExcellent work environment with a motivated team Fun team activities and events throughout the year Opportunities for rapid advancement within the company High-quality uniforms provided Compensation details: 22-25 Hourly WagePIddb-7580
