Overview

The Warehouse/Delivery Driver Helper role at Ashley | The Wellsville Group involves unloading furniture, using RF scanning technology, and assisting with in-home deliveries. This position offers a pathway to advance to delivery driving responsibilities and emphasizes a commitment to career development within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Unload furniture and track product storage using RF scan gun
  • Help prepare furniture for the next day's deliveries
  • Assist with in-home delivery setups
  • Manage and handle furniture weighing up to 100lbs
  • Use drills and hand tools for furniture assembly
  • Ride along on deliveries with the prospect of advancing to a driving position

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean history
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Mechanically inclined with experience using drills and hand tools
  • Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience preferred
  • Eligible for DOT certification upon hire
