Overview

The Warehouse Technician at Johnson Thermal Systems will manage inventory control, optimize warehouse processes, and ensure efficient material delivery to production teams. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about quality operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Streamline warehouse operations by organizing storage areas and optimizing pick/replenishment workflows.
  • Manage inventory using MRP software (Dynamics 365) to monitor stock levels and create purchase and work orders.
  • Oversee receiving and inspection of incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams for material availability and on-time fulfillment.
  • Lead inventory control initiatives, including cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities and prepare logistics documentation.
  • Enforce warehouse safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and safety checklists.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse technician role
  • Experience with MRP software and inventory management
  • Forklift certification
