Job Description

Overview

Join Staples, Inc. as a Warehouse Shipping Associate on the 2nd shift, working from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will operate material handling equipment and ensure the efficient delivery of products within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Your contributions will be vital to the success of Staples Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
  • Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility.
  • Confirm accuracy of products during receiving and returns processes.
  • Manually unload trucks and palletize products.
  • Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Required skills

  • Minimum three months of related experience in warehouse environment.
  • Basic English language skills for communication.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes weighing 70 to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet.
  • Material Handling Equipment Operator certification.
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
