Job Description

Overview

Join Staples' World Class Supply Chain Team as a Warehouse Shipping Associate during the 2nd shift, responsible for delivering essential products to customers. This role involves operating material handling equipment and performing various tasks across different warehouse functions while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and electric pallet jacks
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties in the warehouse
  • Manually unload trucks and palletize products
  • Confirm accuracy of products and resolve discrepancies with colleagues
  • Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
  • Ensure a safe and clean workspace during operations

Required skills

  • Material Handling Equipment Operator certification
  • Experience in a warehouse environment (minimum three months)
  • Ability to lift, push or pull boxes weighing between 70-100 pounds
  • Basic English language skills for communication
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (preferred)
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience (preferred)
