Job Description

Overview

Join Staples' World Class Supply Chain Team as a Warehouse Shipping Associate on the 2nd shift, where you'll play a critical role in delivering essential products to customers. You'll have the opportunity to work in various warehouse areas, including material handling, receiving, and shipping, all while adhering to safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks
  • Manually unload trucks and palletize products
  • Confirm accuracy of products and address discrepancies with colleagues
  • Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Forge strong relationships with colleagues and customers to foster collaboration

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 months related warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 to 100 pounds
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
  • Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred
