Overview

The Warehouse position at Briggs Inc of Omaha is responsible for supporting inside sales operations, managing inventory, and fulfilling customer orders. This role includes receiving products, assisting customers, and coordinating deliveries, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency in a warehouse setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Work the inside sales counter and assist with incoming sales calls
  • Accurately receive products into the warehouse and check in shipments
  • Fill customer orders and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Display and pursue sales for counter specials
  • Write and enter purchase orders and bids into the computer
  • Process cash sales and prepare submittals
  • Coordinate deliveries to customer locations and job sites
  • Stock inventory shelves and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities as needed
