Overview

As a Warehouse Lead II at Xpedient Logistics in Hialeah, Florida, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to safety protocols, and the timely processing of goods. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team, maintain inventory accuracy, and implement quality control measures.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support warehouse associates in daily tasks
  • Assign and monitor work assignments for timely completion
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of products
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Monitor product quality and report discrepancies
  • Implement quality control measures
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices
  • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
  • Enforce health and safety regulations

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse
  • Material handling experience preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities in fast-paced environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing
  • Knowledge of inventory management software
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
