Overview

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Bulk Selector for the 2nd shift, part-time, in Wauregan, Connecticut. This role involves operating material handling equipment and performing various warehouse tasks to ensure the efficient delivery of products to customers while maintaining safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Pick and move products weighing up to 100 lbs within the warehouse
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties inside and outside the facility
  • Confirm accuracy of product and address discrepancies with colleagues
  • Manually unload trucks and palletize products
  • Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Required skills

  • Material Handling Equipment operation certification
  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 70-100 lb boxes
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
  • Willingness to keep work area clean
