Job Description

Overview

The Warehouse Bulk Part Time 1st Shift position at Staples involves operating various material handling equipment and performing essential warehouse duties to support the supply chain. Associates will be responsible for ensuring safety procedures are followed while picking, moving, and organizing products in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers
  • Pick and move products weighing up to 100 lbs within the warehouse
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Confirm accuracy of products and resolve discrepancies
  • Manually unload trucks and palletize products
  • Organize and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Required skills

  • Material Handling Equipment Operator certification
  • Warehouse experience (minimum three months)
  • Basic English language skills
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and at heights up to 60 feet
  • Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and cherry pickers preferred
