Overview

The Warehouse Associate - Seasonal role at Geodis involves receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials within various logistics environments. As a key player in a global third-party logistics provider, you'll have opportunities for career growth and the chance to work in a positive and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive, store, move, and distribute materials
  • Read production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved
  • Convey materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage areas
  • Sort and place materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequences
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 to 3 months of related experience
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American currency and weight measurement
  • Ability to follow simple instructions and complete duties
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Adaptability to non-climate-controlled environments
