Job Description

Overview

As a Warehouse Associate at Grainger, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations during the night shift. This position involves various tasks related to the handling of products, including unloading, sorting, and packing, while maintaining safety and quality standards in the workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely complete inbound and outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery expectations
  • Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and overtime requirements
  • Operate computerized scanning equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other tasks as directed by leadership

Required skills

  • Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to varying conditions
  • Ability to frequently lift, slide, and lower packages up to 75 pounds
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment including forklift and reach truck
  • Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Great attention to detail, quality, and safety
