Job Description

Overview

Capital Electric is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join their Upper Marlboro, MD team. This role will primarily focus on providing administrative support for outbound operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy to facilitate efficient service to branches and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Outbound Manager with daily administrative activities
  • Process all outbound paperwork per company standards
  • Maintain accurate PO, transfer, and shipping records
  • Create packing slips in Eclipse as needed
  • Reconcile shipping and transfer reports
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies with branches, customers, and internal teams
  • Ensure accurate outbound documentation and follow safety standards
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers via email and phone

Required skills

  • Prior warehouse administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with inventory systems or ERP platforms, preferably Eclipse
  • MHE (forklift) experience and/or ability to become MHE certified preferred
