Job Description

Overview

Clarios is looking for a VP of Public Affairs to lead corporate communications and public affairs in North America, which is the company's largest market. This newly created position will focus on aligning corporate communications and community relations strategy while supporting a significant $6B investment in U.S. manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee corporate communications and public affairs for North America
  • Shape the corporate communication agenda in conjunction with the Global Chief Communications Officer
  • Lead the public affairs strategy to support U.S.-based investments
  • Ensure alignment between Aftermarket marketing initiatives and corporate marketing strategies
  • Work closely with North American leadership and global executive teams

Required skills

  • Experience working with State and Local Government or Non-Profit organizations
  • Proven leadership experience in large organizations
  • Ability to lead in fast-paced environments
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities
  • Strong decision-making skills based on metrics and data
  • Willingness to travel (>50%)
