Be part of a passionate team that is ushering in the electric age.About the role: The VP of Sales, Data Centers owns magniX's commercial strategy for applying its aerospace-grade batteries and power electronics to the rapid buildout of electricity systems driven by data center growth. The role is responsible for developing magniX's pipeline with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and energy storage integrators who require high energy density, cycle life, and safety for mission-critical backup and grid-support power applications, and for positioning magniX's 800-volt architecture as a differentiated solution in a fast-growing market. This is an onsite role that requires travel, extensive dealmaking experience, negotiation of contracts, and a proven ability to close deals within this vertical.Primary Responsibilities:Map and prioritize data center and energy storage opportunities, including hyperscale, colocation, and grid-support segmentsDevelop and implement a sales strategy and pipeline for the vertical, in alignment with magniX's overall commercial strategy set by the CCOBuild and maintain relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, energy storage integrators, and data center infrastructure partnersAct as an evangelist for the magniX brand within the verticalIdentify and pursue new data center and energy storage partnerships, positioning magniX's aerospace-grade safety and performance standards as a key differentiatorIdentify, initiate, lead, and close sales opportunities in line with the company's overall strategic plan and financial objectivesCollaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to ensure the timely delivery of products and services committed to customersCreate, track, and maintain competitive market data specific to the verticalPrepare and deliver regular sales and pipeline reports to the CCOPartner with marketing to develop vertical-specific literature, value propositions, and trade show presence Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience in sales or business development at a senior level5+ years of experience selling battery, power electronics, or energy storage systems into data center, hyperscale, or grid-scale marketsAbility to travel as neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience with data center power and backup infrastructure requirements, and familiarity with hyperscaler or colocation procurement processes, is strongly preferredAble to develop business cases and value-based propositionsCritical thinker and problem solver with demonstrable consultative selling experienceAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced companyLocation: Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.Compensation & Benefits100% company-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance (for employees & dependents). 4 weeks paid vacation + 1-week annual end-of-year shutdown, sick time, and 11 paid holidays. 401K retirement plan with industry leading 9.5% company contribution.Company paid Life insurance, AD&D, Short-Term and Long-Term disability insuranceCatered lunches and quarterly company fun-day events!
