Overview

Jobot is seeking a VP of Business Development who will play a key role in expanding business within the public health and government sectors. This position is focused on developing relationships, securing contracts, and managing the entire deal process from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and close new contracts
  • Network and build relationships with potential clients in the public health and government sectors
  • Attend conferences and meetings to promote the company's services
  • Create a target list and pursue new business opportunities
  • Generate proposals for prospective contracts
  • Manage cradle-to-grave deal oversight and ensure resource allocation for projects
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to optimize service offerings

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development
  • Experience in government agency or public health sector
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations
  • Proficient in networking and client relationship management
  • Contract negotiation and proposal writing skills
